SEMESTER PROJECT
OBJECTIVE:-
To Design a Hotel Reception Circuit Board
DESCRIPTION:-
It’s a semester project to design a reception circuit Board for a hotel which is a simple project in which a buzzer and (3) lamps are used. Which are controlled by using 3 push buttons.
These 3 push buttons are fixed in 3 different rooms of a hotel, and all the 3 lamps & a buzzer is present at the reception of the hotel.

If any of the push button is pressed from a room, the corresponding lamp on the reception gets “ON” with a sound of buzzer.
The sound of buzzer attracts the attention of the receptionist while the glowing lamp shows that from which room the button is pressed.

WORKING:-

If a 15 watt lamp is attached in the given circuit 0.5 ampere current passes through it then according to ohm’s law a drop of 30 volts accurse across it while the remaining voltage drops across the buzzer. Which is
220V – 30V = 190V
As the buzzer used can operate from 110V to 220V thus this voltage is sufficient for it.
APPLICATIONS:-
Some of the wide applications of the project are listed below:
1. It is commonly used at the Hotel’s Reception.
2. It is also used in different offices for assistance purposes.
3. It is also used in different co-curricular activities i.e.
Quiz and Debate acquisition contests.
4. This type of circuit is also applicable for security purposes.
CONCLUSIONS:-
We have learned from this project a lot and it has acknowledge us about the wiring very much. This project will help us out throughout our Engineering.
Ø The center of the switch A is connected to the phase line.
Ø The connection of the other two ends of two-way switch is connected as follows. The point 1 of switch A is connected to point 1 of switch B and point 2 of A is connected to 2 of
Ø B.
Ø The given lamp is fixed on the lamp holders.
Ø Controlling the switches, the circuit is checked and results are tabulated.

Thus the staircase wiring has been constructed, tested and the results are tabulated
